What are stories?

Stories are the oldest form of expression and means of learning. Stories are all around us, in movies, songs, books, art, culture, dance, education, and even our conversations!

Storytelling began with cave paintings; later, stories were expressed through dance and eventually through songs and conversations.

Over time, the art of storytelling and the storyteller became an integral part of the community, helping people understand different cultures, perspectives, and ways of living. This has helped bring about empathy as well as understanding globally, not to forget reinforcing values and morals without preaching!

Storytelling is indeed powerful!
